GLENVIEW WOMEN'S EMERGENCY ACCOMODATION FACILITY
WHAT IS GLENVIEW
We are thrilled to announce the opening of Glenview, our new women’s emergency accommodation service.
This 24-hour crash facility is the only all-female crash service in Northern Ireland, offering individual rooms with ensuite facilities to ensure privacy and dignity.
Currently, we can accommodate up to 10 women, with plans to expand to 26 spaces within the next year. Glenview also provides opportunities for external organisations to deliver holistic therapies and group workshops, enhancing the support we offer.
With 24/7 staff support, we are confident that Glenview will provide a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment. We are excited to see how this new service will grow and positively impact the lives of the women we serve.
OUR AIM
Our overall aim is to support the women who stay at Glenview to move on to more secure housing. To achieve this aim Glenview objectives are to:
Provide a safe and welcoming place to stay.
To provide basic needs i.e. food, warmth, laundry and washing facilities.
To provide the opportunity to link in with other services providing support such as, housing, health and benefits.
