Operation "HOME"

From 11 April 2025, Graham Fergus will be spending 10 days trekking solo through the rugged Mourne Mountains – venturing in with only a single day’s worth of food and the very basic provisions. His mission is to endure these challenging days relying on the kindness and generosity of the surrounding community to sustain him. Each evening, he will share the location of his campsite in the hopes that those close by will bring food and support. 

“This journey is not just about physical endurance; it’s about raising awareness for homelessness in Northern Ireland.”  

Through this journey, he hopes to highlight the hardships faced by those experiencing homelessness, as well as the long-term effects homelessness has on those who have found refuge.
