Other ways to help

We are grateful for any donation we receive, no matter how big or small.

Regular Donation

Regular donations allow us to plan ahead so we can bring sustainable life-changing services to more people. To make a regular donation complete the Direct Debit on our Donations page– we will do the rest.

Leave a legacy

Leave a gift in your will. This will not only help homeless people immediately, but opportunity and hope for those who face it in the future.

Occasion to remember

Share a big occasion with us, or commemorate the passing of a loved one. There are many ways you can bring help to those who need it most.

The Welcome Organisation has been providing potentially life-saving and life-changing services for people in housing crisis for nearly two decades.

In that time we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the general public who have donated hundreds of tonnes of clothes which we have distributed to people in need on a daily basis.

However, as our range of vital services have continued to expand and develop we no longer have the staff resources or the physical space to manage and store the overwhelming donations of clothes we receive and we have had to re-think how we can continue to provide clothes to our clients in a more streamlined and efficient manner.

From January 2017 we are no longer accepting donations of clothes. Instead we will be working with other like-minded charities and organisations to keep us continually supplied with a small stock of good quality clothing in a range of sizes at our Drop-in Centre.

This will allow us to better manage our stock and free up our staff to place even more focus on delivering essential support to clients across our 6 support programmes targeting rough sleepers, women in crisis and those at risk of homelessness .

We would want to stress that we can’t deliver our full range of services without the phenomenal support of the public and it is critical you continue with that support.

You can help us help others in a number of ways:

• Donations of food. Non-perishable items are preferable. Canned food – beans, soup, fruit, etc

• Donations of money. We could not survive and deliver our wide range of services without donations of money. We accept one-off donations, monthly donations, donations from fundraising events, corporate donations. If you would like to get involved in fundraising or would like to donate money or consider setting up a fund-raising group in your area please contact

We are currently undergoing a major volunteer audit and as a result we will not be recruiting new volunteers until September 2017.

Please check back then for more information.
